Burn and Fade
Burn and Fade is another Half Life 2 machinima. Based on the Combine’s iron grip on the Half Life world and the demise during the progression of the game(s). I also wanted to focus on the irony of Breen’s (the voice playing over the music) words stating “imortality is in our reach” while death and destruction is all around.
Cloudy Now
Disaster strikes the ancient sands of the desert test facility. Weapons of mass anihalation had been tested here for years with not a hitch. The machinery whirrs and hums as the great nuclear beast awakens for the final time, obliterating all and taking the last of the inhabitants back to the sands.
End of the World
The world is shattered and broken. Humanity has been imprisoned on a lonely blue planet called earth and with all hope gone it really does look like the end of the world. All around is a constant feeling of despair and depression. Children no longer play and adults no longer chat. The violent uprisings will come, but until that time it’s a sad existance…
Going Up
Peering down the scope of his Rifle, his target in sight… just one squeeze of his finger and that man is going up. One from the land, one from the sea these men are out to kill. But only one will be Going up to the Spirit in the Sky…
GRID: Good Vibrations
The roar of the engine, the screech of that tortured rubber as you fly around that corner on two wheels needing a new pair of underwear. That’s what Grid is all about. The vibe of the game, the fun and that’s what I attempted to capture in this film. Goooood Times…
Heavy’s Pride
The great russian bear and his faithful Sasha. Till death do they part, that being the death of countless others. Bullets fly because this is his damn control point and so help you if you think you can outsmart the wall of lead now heading your way. Run cowards…
Playground of Horrors
With annoying kids ringing on your doors and the supermarkets shoving their tacky devil horns down your throat it’s good to get away from what has become just another over commercialised holiday. Well Pyro Fire has just the ticket to do that.
Be afraid, be very afraid to quote that old cliché. It’s time once again to turn off the lights and watch an old fashioned horror, and we don’t mean some cheerleader getting her breasts cut off under a sprinkler in the moonlight with blood shooting out like a pressure washer. We mean old fashioned, black and white night time chills.
Rocketman
Rocketman is a light hearted short film about one tinkering man in the garrysmod world. With only what the all powerful “ooo” red button provides he sets about to conquer the stars, with a dumpster on his head and a floating squadron of balloon powered engines…
Sasha
Heartbreak is common with every Team Fortress 2 update, but none more so when faithful Sasha was torn from the grip of her Russian Comrade to be tossed aside while Natasha is the new flavour of the month. Sure she’s younger and makes a nicer noise… but perhaps Sasha was niave enough to feel that people would see past that….
The Run
A man on a mission, time is of the essence here and by god he must succeed. Failure is not an option, and this must succeed by any means necessary…
Trackmania
This game’s so fast you need a whole bag of sugar to get around the first corner. I tried my best to capture the organised insanity that is Trackmania, and the result was 4 and a half minutes of blazing speed which considering my controller skill came out rather well.
